Topsham-based amateur dramatic society
ExeDFAS meets on the second Thursday of the month at 10.30 am from September to June in Matthews Hall. The lectures are on a variety of subjects such as architecture, painting, music, ceramics etc. There are also two study days and three visits (e.g. to National Trust properties or houses which are not usually open to the public). Once a year a 5/6 day foreign tour is arranged.
Friendly singing group led by Sarah Pennington, open to all who enjoy singing, no need to read music or have previous experience. Very broad range of musical styles, all sung acappella (voices only), very accessible. May occasionally perform locally.

When: Tuesdays from 11am until 1pm
Cost: £6 (full) / £4 (low income) per session; reduction for six-session block.

Topsham Art Group - "Since the 1960s, The Topsham Art Group has been welcoming people who have a common love of the visual arts, and have aimed to encourage its practice and appreciation. The membership of 150 includes amateur and professional artists, and others who simply enjoy art and like to broaden their knowledge and understanding. The artists amongst us work in a wide range of media including watercolour, oil, pastel, acrylic, gouache and sculpture".

A society for those interested in the natural world around them, and in particular this area of Devon; activities comprise a mix of indoor illustrated talks and fieldtrips.
